Anna Meares Velodrome

The Sleeman Sports Complex is home to the state's first indoor velodrome, the Anna Meares Velodrome. This world-class venue features an international competition standard 250 metre timber cycling track, with its facilities catering for a range of cyclists and a number of indoor court sports.

The velodrome is energy and water efficient and is the first velodrome in the world to have full LED broadcast-quality lighting.

Anna Meares, a retired Olympic and Commonwealth Games Australian track cyclist, opened the track on 12 November, 2016.
